Grand Commandery Knights Templar Rhode Island & Massachusetts

Grand Commanders Message

February 2026: Love, Integrity, and Shared Purpose

To the Valiant Sir Knights of Massachusetts and Rhode Island,

As the winter chill continues to hold its grip across our jurisdictions, February arrives to remind us that the warmth of our Order comes from within. This month is often synonymous with love, but for a Sir Knight, that sentiment extends far beyond the romantic. It is rooted in Agape—the selfless, brotherly love that binds us to one another and to the service of humanity.

Leading with Integrity

In our rituals and our daily lives, integrity is the bedrock upon which we build our character. It is the quiet commitment to doing what is right, even when no one is watching. As we navigate the challenges of this new year, let our actions reflect the solemn vows we have taken.

When we operate with integrity, we honor the legacy of those who donned the mantle before us and provide a steady light for those who wish to follow.

 Strength in Unity: Community Service

Our mission is most effective when we move as one. This month, I challenge every Commandery to look outward. Love and integrity are best expressed through action.

Whether it is supporting the Knights Templar Eye Foundation, volunteering at a local food pantry, or assisting a distressed brother, our impact is magnified when we work together. By strengthening our local communities, we strengthen the foundations of our Order.

"True chivalry lies not in the glory of the individual, but in the collective hand extended to those in need."

 Looking Ahead

Let us make this February a month of renewed dedication. Reach out to a Sir Knight you haven't seen in a while, involve your families in our charitable efforts, and continue to exemplify the virtues of our magnanimous Order.

Courteously and fraternally,

S.K. Peter A. Randall
